Parkinson's and Movement Disorders

The Duke Department of Neurology’s fellowship in Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders provides trained neurologists with expertise in diagnosis and management of patients with of various movement disorders including:

  • Parkinson's disease and related neurodegenerative disorders
  • tremor disorders
  • focal and generalized dystonia
  • Huntington's disease and other choreiform disorders
  • Tourette syndrome
  • restless leg syndrome
  • tardive dyskinesia
  • myoclonus
  • hemiballismus
  • other rare disorders associated with abnormal movements.


“I work with a fantastic group of people at the Morreene Road Clinic. Four days a week I see patients with any of the five movement disorders specialists here at Duke. Every Tuesday I go to the OR for deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgeries.
